The Secrets of Effective Application

Taking care of the entire eye contour area

The proper application of eye contour care is a crucial step in your routine. A common mistake is to focus only on the lower part of the eye, where dark circles may be more visible. However, it's essential to understand that the eye contour area is more extensive than you might think. It's recommended to draw a circle encompassing the entire "dark circle area", extending to the top of the cheekbone, while including the upper eyelid and brow bone.

By extending application to the outer corners of the eye, fine lines and expression wrinkles can be prevented or reduced. Extending the application to the brow bone helps prevent the upper eyelid from sagging. A more global perspective is therefore recommended when applying the product.

Step 1: Preparation

Before applying Eye Recipe, it's imperative to start with a clean face. Gentle make-up removal is recommended to eliminate any residual make-up, oils or impurities.

Step 2: How much?

It's crucial to note that Eye Recipe is highly concentrated, which means you only need a small amount to achieve the desired results. A single grain of rice is a benchmark for the ideal amount.

Step 3: Delicate application

Eye Recipe should be applied very gently. Use your ring finger (the weakest finger and therefore the one that will naturally apply less pressure) rather than your index finger, to avoid exerting excessive pressure on sensitive skin.

Step 4: Direction of application

Apply skincare by gently tapping from the inner corner of the eye outwards. This ensures even coverage of the under-eye area, including the outer corners where fine lines and wrinkles tend to be more pronounced.

Step 5: Avoid rubbing

It's imperative not to rub or pull the skin around the eyes. This action could not only cause irritation, but also contribute to premature aging of the skin.

Step 6: Wait for absorption

Allow the treatment to penetrate the skin by letting it sit for a few minutes before applying other cosmetics or make-up to the area.

Step 7: Moisturize

Complete your routine by applying an appropriate moisturizer or sunscreen, if necessary.

Eye Contour: Morning or Evening?

For optimum results, Eye Recipe should be applied in the morning and at night. In the morning, the product protects the delicate eye area from external aggression throughout the day. What's more, it helps reduce puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, and enhances the look of the eyes. It's essential to cover the entire eye contour area, as well as the upper eyelid, to prevent sagging.

In the evening, the aim is to regenerate the eye area, which has been subjected to various stresses throughout the day, such as make-up, creases, dust particles, smoke and so on. It is therefore advisable to apply a more generous amount of product.

Meticulous, regular application of your eye care product according to these recommendations will contribute to a more youthful, radiant appearance of the skin around your eyes.

It's worth remembering that other factors such as genetics, lifestyle, diet and sleep play a crucial role in the health of the skin around the eyes. A balanced diet, sufficient sleep and appropriate sun protection are all important elements in maintaining healthy, youthful skin.

Delicate massage

It's vital to stimulate microcirculation to promote drainage, diminish signs of fatigue and reduce pigmentation that darkens the eye area. The massage tool that accompanies Eye Recipe has been specially designed for this purpose.
We recommend that you devote some time to its precise application. Once you've absorbed Eye Recipe, massage the tool from the inside to the top of the cheekbone 10 times around each eye, stimulating the area and reducing under-eye puffiness. Repeat from inside to outside on the upper eyelids, before gently massaging in crow's feet and frown lines. In the absence of a massage tool, you can perform these massages gently with your fingertips.
